Happy International Women's Day 💛
On this special occasion, I’m coming to your inbox outside of the scheduled programming (monthly issue). I want to celebrate all of the incredible women I get to work with 🫶
I didn't always feel like I belonged in the rooms I was in. Too quiet. Too young. Too “foreign”. And often - one of the only woman at the table.
In the past 10 years, I've learned that this feeling visits almost every woman I've worked with.
So, I want to say something to the women I've had the privilege of coaching:
🌸 To the woman who sat in meetings with the right answer in her head and stayed quiet…
🌸 To the woman who stepped into a Director role with huge imposter syndrome…
🌸 To the woman who cried in the toilet in the office…
🌸 To the woman who absorbed every tension on her team because she cared so deeply about everyone’s wellbeing…
🌸 To the woman who had to skip a day at the office due to miscarriage, endometriosis, PMDD…
🌸 To the woman who was told that to be a leader, she needed to be louder, more commanding, more of something other than herself…
… I see you.
These are some of the women I get to coach on a daily basis. And what I see over months of working together is remarkable → women who came in apologising for taking up space, leaving knowing exactly what they bring to a room.
Witnessing that growth is the greatest privilege of my work. It makes me emotional just reflecting on it 🥹
To all the women doing the quietly confident work of letting themselves be themselves - I see you.
Hugs,
Karolina
